Don't Call Me A Martial Artist

Don't call me a martial artist. I mean by that. I feel that that label has been so corrupted that it's no longer honorable. I rather come out with my own label represent something different. A lot of people are claiming this label in the corrupting the meaning of that label. It's an interesting label that we came up with the other day. We came up with the label as let it artist. So maybe I'll take that label and let it artist. An artist in what? An on paint, but just artist in life, artist in your expression and what you do. So the word martial arts has been used too much by too many people. The more people that use a certain label, the more potential for corruption. The less people that use a certain label, the less potential for corruption. Any label out there in this world that you take on will be corrupted. Just think of all the labels that we use. Use the label police officer. Clearly there's a lot of corruption in that field. Use the label being a Marine or soldier. Corruption within any type of organization. The label will be corrupted. Sometimes the government will try to enforce regulations to minimize corruption. So there are laws, for example, against people getting flashy lights in the cars. Because then they pretend like they're police officers. There are laws against people using the label police. You can't just put on your car police, it big letters. Or you can't just throw on a shirt. We get a vest that says police because people will mistakenly believe that you're a police. So there's regulations. That's why they have regulations on money exchange. And everything's regulated by the law. Being able to decipher what's counterfeit money and what's real money. If they didn't do that, there'd be a lot of counterfeit money. And because there's no regulations on the martial arts, there's a lot of counterfeit martial arts, a lot of corruption in the martial arts to the point where you don't even know what's real anymore. Sometimes it's best to let go of the label and create your own label. So I Bruce Lee came away and came up with his own label. Gekundau, which was unique to him. But of course that label will be corrupted as soon as his death. While he's living, he's the government. He's the person that regulates the corruption within that label. But once he passes away, it's done. The corruption is going to overtake the label. The government is here to try to stop corruption. But of course, sometimes the government and itself is corrupt. So all these labels that we use can and will be corrupted. That's why I've come up with my own labels and martial arts. Not just martial arts, not just not mixed martial arts, not hybrid martial arts, but I call it Zen martial arts. I'm not the first one to use it. All show is a promoter of Zen martial arts as well. It's something that you'll be able to find at his meditation resort. But other than him, I want the few that uses that label Zen martial arts. Now there's another one. Athletic artist. Not martial artist, but athletic artist. Somebody that's highly fit and healthy and being creative in his expression. Athletic artist. So you got some of these highly trained gymnasts that may be athletic artists or some of these people that practice acrobatts may be athletic artists. People that are very athletic in their creative expression. It's an athletic artist. A lot of people claim martial arts that may not be that healthy, may not be that fit that corrupts that label. It turns it into something less respectable. That's why a lot of people fron upon the label, police officer, because there's a lot of corrupted police officers that destroy that label. The label security guard. There's a lot of people that destroy that label. Then you might have a label called Secret Service. People that protect the president. Because not many people could get to that level of training or that level of, you know, that occupation. That label is hard to corrupt. Because you won't find that many people out there that claim Secret Service or even the FBI. Of course, there's corruption within. But the less people that claim a certain label, the less there is for potential for corruption. A lot of people say a lot of good things about the Navy SEAL say that they're very fit and athletic and highly trained. That's superhuman. What not? Because there's less people in that label that claim that label, then there's less chance of corruption. But the more people that claim a certain label, the more there is potential for corruption. Marshall Arts has been extremely corrupted. Religion has been extremely corrupted. Every label out there that you can imagine has been corrupted. And that's why we had to come up with all these different labels to set us apart from all that corruption. And that's what I attempt to do with these new labels, Freddy's modern kung fu. Modern kung fu, not just kung fu with modern kung fu. It sets me apart from the corruption within what you may view as kung fu. Zed Marshall Arts sets a difference between the corruption of what you deemed as martial arts or mixed martial arts. But whatever martial arts you want to talk about. And athletic artists set me different from the martial artist or whatever you deemed as artist. But yes, what these new labels they will be corrupted as well. But in order to communicate to the public something different, these new labels are necessary. So I'll use these labels. So I'll use these labels as a tool for the meantime. But as time goes by, labels will be corrupted and labels will have to probably change. But that's just the way life is. It's about change. And you may agree.
