We will be involved on this one lonely planet in this tiny smiver of time and an amenity of ages. Are we the only ones? And if we're not, what are those other guys like? It seems to me we'd be the most extraordinary discovery in the history of the world. Shand of Europe and just about to move from sunlight into sunset, dust, the blooming effect of the camera lens. It's like you got an optic right running the remark that you looked out there and I saw it just happened up. Nevermind. I'm in missing something. I don't see anything. Yeah, we think the camera's still pretty cool. It's about your 10 o'clock 11 o'clock going away. Don't worry about it. Don't worry about it. This guy where you were sending you an order or stay back there. You're not a cop. Yeah, we think the camera's still pretty cool. Yeah, we think the camera's still pretty cool. So that's that light coming in. That's that light that I could. That's that light that is. That's that light that is. Go away, go away about it. You might just be the monitor that I'm looking at shaking. On your video, when the jet-sur-fire, do you see the camera moving and all oscillating? You might just be the monitor that I'm looking at shaking. You know, on your video, when the jet-sur-fire, do you see the camera moving and all oscillating? Yeah. This is Mission Control Houston. This is Mission Control Houston. This picture of the Russian Space Station Mirror is being provided to us by the low light level cameras on board discovery. Physician Valerie Poliocov, one of the mirror crew members is occasionally shining a flash light at the crew members to help with the. You repressed the right home to the B-Ragues place. This guy really makes an innocent picture. Mirror crossing the horizon. We certainly have it in all of our eyes. Yes sir. Discovery, we have KU band down late. We are now receiving pictures from both Discovery and from Mirror. Discovery is now 65 feet away from the Space Station Mirror. That means we only have about 30 or so feet to go before we reach our point of closest approach. This particular picture is from Mirror. And I will run to go activities continue to go very smoothly. I will orbit our systems our functioning as expected. Discovery and Mirror now in just south of the Kamchatka Peninsula and just to the east of Japan. The two vehicles are about to start a south, eastern, east sweep above the Pacific Ocean on Mirrors 57th orbit of the mission and well on Discovery's 57th orbit of the mission and on Mirrors 15th orbit of the day. This mission control Houston we are using the payload bay cameras right now to hopefully catch a glimpse of the Russian Space Station Mirror as it performs an on orbit burn. Though it will be difficult to pick mirror out from the stars as they pass behind us. The payload bay cameras are positioned such that they are looking straight back back to the straight back behind the orbiter where the mirror is flying in about. 850 nautical miles behind us. Enjoy from here. Sorry, I was a good one though for our friends. Thank you sir. We could not see it here either. We will wait two or three more minutes till sunrise and then at that time give you a go for a KU still. We are at a mission laps time of seven days 13 hours and 17 minutes. This is mission control Houston. The Mirror Space Station is now visible on the far left hand side of the screen about about an inch from the bottom of this particular picture. The Mirror Space Station is the small flashing light in the center about an inch from the left hand side of the screen. It's slowly. It is slowly moving closer to the left hand side and it has a very light flashing to it. We think on the middle of the screen wait to the left hand side. We think you can see a flashing light just a little bit to the left of the center of the screen. We do see something flashing visually but we are not sure that might be. This is mission control Houston. Once again we believe we were just able to spot the Mirror Space craft as it flies about at 850 nautical miles behind discovery. The space craft appeared at as a very small flashing light and then moved out of the picture as the camera was being moved to try to get a different picture.
