investigating rumors of a hidden military base in the mountains, encountering security measures and following a suspicious truck.
Transcript
Is there really a secret military base hidden in those mountains there? Well, that's what the rumors are. And I'm on my way to see if I can find any evidence of that. Well already I found this little interesting bit. It looks like a power generating station. Nothing too sinister anyway. There are some CCTV cameras in various positions, various locations. Alright, we got a sign. No trespassing, violators will be prosecuted up to $1,000 fine and or six months imprisonment. A RS13-1502 and 13-1602 flood control district of Maricopa. Well, there's no flood. No trespassing signs are posted in multiple locations. Often in a distance there, I do see some structures. I don't know if there are military or not. Looks like those no trespassing signs just keep continuing on. I'm counting one, two, three, four of them off in a distance there. Might be something to this rumor. I don't think I'm going to risk taking a chance of paying a $1,000 fine or going to jail. I don't know what's off in the distance over there. It's kind of strange, isn't it? Well, I turned around. There is a little road over here. Another little gravel road. Off to the right here. Maybe I can get a better look. But we're in a different position. Okay, I'm also now being followed by a truck of some sort. I saw that truck earlier. He was watching me. He was parked up on the hill. Watching me. Then when I came down here to make my turn on this other gravel road, he started following me. So, what's going on there? Looks like there's a quarry over here. See a bunch of rocks piled out. This is where West Valley Rock is, I guess. I guess I can't be in too much trouble going down this road. Is it public road here? No trespassing signs. I mean, just say, there are no trespassing signs. And the road's getting rough. I'm still being followed. I'm going to make a U-turn and see if I can catch a glimpse of this guy. See what's going on with this guy. There. See, Peter is around the pole team. Yeah. Just on the other side of that quarry up in the hills there, it's where that military installation is supposed to be. So far, he hasn't turned around yet. So, I'm not being followed anymore. There's a similar truck going over there somewhere. Maybe he's just turning around. What does it say on the side of his truck? Okay, well, that's strange, too. U-S-A truck. I don't know. I've never heard of that truck in company. It does have an Air Force symbol on the side. So maybe, maybe there is something to it all this. Well, I guess it's best thing for me to do is to come here at night, right? I don't know. I can only go as far as the top of this little hill. After that, there's no trespassing signs. So, I don't know. I actually don't think I'm going to risk it today. Maybe I'll do it follow up to this video later. I don't know. Here we have one more look. Hey. Somebody's going down there. It all blacked out windows on the car. I'm not sure what to make of all this. Wish I had a better zoom on this thing. There's definitely something down there though. Okay, it looks like I'm going to have to call it quits now. It just got a little too scary. I didn't want to risk spending a thousand dollars on a fine and or going to prison. Wouldn't be able to buy my ice capuccinos every Saturday morning. If that happened, but if you guys want to do any little investigation on your own there from home, it's just north of the I-10 freeway on Miller Road in Buckeye, Arizona. So with that said, this is Mike reporting from the Valley of the Sun. Even though it's kind of cloudy today, which is very rare. Thanks for watching guys.
