My name is Howie Dohn and I'm 52 years old and I'm a downsized environmental engineer. In 2008, after having a problem with the growth on my back, I learned after having a biopsy that I had a pretty serious case of malignant melanoma. The biopsy report came back Clark's level 4 lesion, which means that the depth was pretty deep. When I went into the dermatologist's office, I basically told her that I needed to have this area removed just because it was causing so much discomfort and at the time she looked at me and she said, yes, you really need to have that growth removed. After that time, I had some time to go home and with all the emotional trauma that I was experiencing, I thought, wow, you know, what's next? I have experience with cancer in my family. I lost my dad, has a teenager to cancer, and my mom is actually a cancer survivor also. So it's something that I'm familiar with, but I didn't think that it would ever happen to me. I thought I was on a pretty good course with my diet and my lifestyle. But really looking back, they say hindsight is 20-20, and I had a poor history of jobs and between taking jobs that were working with oil and gasoline and mechanical. I worked several years as a commercial pool and spa specialist, a water quality specialist. I did a lot of work with chlorine in tablet, powder, liquid form. I also did a lot of time as a swim instructor. So not only was I inhaling a lot of the chlorine toxins, I was also immersed in the water quite a bit of time. I left my job voluntarily in 2008. This was just after I had a biopsy done. I really wanted to have my insurance take care of this particular situation. I had procrastinated about having my insurance in force, and when I finally did get the insurance working, I had already had my biopsy done. And when I went to a consultation at a small dermatologist's office, he gave me pretty much the conventional protocol on what they do. I went to a conventional doctor. He was a 30-year veteran surgeon oncologist, and he was right near the dermatologist's office, and he came highly recommended. And I think he felt sorry for me because I went into his office and I didn't have insurance at the time. When I went to his office, I was charged $50, and he told me, well, the next step with malignant melanoma is a wide excision and a lymph node biopsy. He explained to me in detail what that was, even though it was a very short consultation, and I understood it completely. I actually have a pretty good background in anatomy and physiology, so I understand how the body works and some of the medical procedures that they use. So leaving his office, I really didn't feel a whole lot better because I really, even after having just a small biopsy and an excision done, I really didn't want to do any more cutting, and when they do a wide excision, they take quite a large bit of tissue. And then if they can't close it properly, they take sometimes skin grafts from other parts of the body. And then in addition to doing a wide excision, they do what's called the lymph node biopsy, and they take a needle-type device and they biopsy the lymph nodes. They actually go to a lymph node, which is called the sentinel lymph node, and if that comes up positive, then the surgical procedure is to start removing lymph nodes. It's really important to keep your lymph nodes and to keep as much body tissue as possible because whatever we're born with is really needed for a natural healing process, and I really wasn't thinking about natural healing until I started to do my research on the internet after my first consultation. I had about two weeks between my initial consultation and then a more expensive one at the City of Hope in Duarte, California. I was receiving a lot of peer pressure from family and friends to go the conventional route, even though I had started seeing information on the internet that was saying that a lot of people are able to heal naturally, not only for cancer, but a lot of other life-threatening illnesses. So I had two weeks to do a lot of research, and more and more I was finding out that people were having success with natural healing and alternative methods. I did follow through with my consultation at the City of Hope. So at my consult at the City of Hope with a younger surgeon oncologist, I finally got the same information that I got in the shorter consult. Again, wide excision and lymph node biopsy, and I got a little bit more for my money this time. It was an $800 consult rather than a $50 one, and I got some drawings. I actually squeezed in a little bit of questioning for him also. I had already started doing some research regarding alternative methods, and I said, well, what happens if I combine conventional methods with natural methods? And he actually paused. It seemed like it was kind of a scene out of a movie, and he said to me, I know people who've tried that before, but don't miss the boat. And I think it's a way of the doctors kind of instilling fear into you so that you make a decision to kind of follow through with the therapy. Both surgeon oncologists never asked me what I wanted to do. It was always the next step is, and the next step is when you go along with conventional therapy. So as I walked out of the hospital through the revolving doors, when the valet brought the car back to me, I looked at my wife and I said, I'm not going back. I had already done substantial research on the internet. And for one reason or another, I ended up finding a therapy called the Gerson therapy. And it was really phenomenal that the information there actually made a lot of sense to me. Again, I understand how the body works, and then I realized that this seemed like the most natural choice for me to heal my body again. So fast forward, I'm actually just about two years into the therapy, and early on, actually just months into the therapy, I stuck with it really religiously by the book and started seeing results very early on. The reason being is that most people who do conventional treatments have already hurt the body by doing chemicals and radiation and surgery, and I had not done any of those things. One of the things that really helped me is that the body's natural immune system was able to really kick in rather quickly. And I saw the results, and without becoming overconfident, I just stuck to it, and over a period of months I became stronger and stronger and stronger. Now I'm just under two years into the therapy, and I feel in great health, and now I'm ready to go and tell others and help others to find more information about alternative therapies. So I kind of urge people, if you're thinking about doing alternative therapy, do it early on because the results are just magnificent for the body to heal and to do it naturally. The alternative is to do conventional therapy, and at what price, you know, there's substantial scarring and trauma to the body, not only physically but emotionally. So go ahead and do your homework and do your research and make a good decision because the alternative therapies now are becoming more and more popular, and all you have to do is to get on the internet and find out how to heal. Hi, I'm the camera guy Ian Jaclyn from IQercancer.com. I wanted to put this up because if you've heard me rant and rave before, skin cancer is the one that is 100% curable, 100%. The doctors, the alternative doctors aren't legally able to tell you that, but I'm a camera guy, filmmaker, I can say whatever I want. I know for a fact I've got two people I've interviewed that say fast growing melanoma, 100% curable. Do not go to your Western medical doctor, they will just cut it out of you, but they do not cut the roots out. The roots go way deeper. If you get it done alternatively, it heals you from the inside out and it'll go away and it'll never come back. My man, I call him Texas Walker because he looks like Chuck Norris. Walker here did it the right way and I hope you choose the right way too. Peace.
