One theory is that the practice emulated advanced beings with enlarged crania who were passing on important survival knowledge to local populations around the planet. However, a sub- theory suggests that these beings were extraterrestrial, perhaps the Anunnaki from Nibiru, described in Sumerian clay tablets and shown with elongated heads in artworks. Artefacts include Roman coins, swords and statuettes, Phoenician and Hebrew inscriptions, and Viking objects. Moreover, the depiction of corn in some Egyptian artworks suggests a little-known New World link.
