Editorial lready, 2012 is starting to live up to its reputation. Earthquake and Ave activity is on the rise, the financial system is in the process o either collapse or drastic change, and America—the global superpower of the day—has accelerated the use of its might both at home and abroad. One of the under-reported technologies in America's arsenal to targe people, whether its own citizens on US soil or those in other nations, is the unmanned aerial vehicle—the drone. As you'll see in the "Drone Wars" article this issue, the technical sophistication and the numbers of drones in the air are both on the rise. In the near future, we will see armed, autonomous and self-aware drones hovering in the skies above us, making their own decisions about whether we are "enemies" of America and then performing a “surgica removal" of the problem. In early February, US Congress passed a bill which clears the way for thousands of drones to ply American skies with the sole purpose of seeking out and destroying domestic targets. Yes, folks: tha Orwellian spectre is now hovering over our heads. There are reports tha 30,000 drones could fill the skies by 2020, and other countries such as the UK, France, Italy and Israel are adding to the numbers—and the threat. Another technology which has caught many by surprise is the 3D desktop printer. For those unfamiliar with the term, it is pretty much what it says. Jus as you tell your computer to print information to paper, the 3D printer receives information and prints objects in three dimensions. Our article wil be a jaw-dropper for many people, as this technology is now affordable and readily accessible. Speaking of jaws, New Scientist (6 February 2012) reported hat an 83-year-old Belgian woman is now able to speak, chew and breathe normally again after being fitted with a new jawbone printed by a 3D machine. Again, speaking of jaw-dropping, my own jaw hit the floor when | read Walter Last's submission about kerosene being used to heal disease. But, we are not publishing the article with any recommendation that you rush out and star drinking the stuff. Far from it. The formulas available today could well be quite different from those you could buy more than half a century ago Furthermore, I've decided to cut details on recommended products and dosages. Still, I'm sure that many readers will be astonished at how this petroleum distillate can be used for healing the body of various ailments In early March, Dr Carol Rosin of ISCOS emailed a copy of the "Specia Announcement from US Retired Intelligence Officer - Dr C. B. Scott Jones" ahead of a conference presentation. This is a stunning announcement indeed, particularly because of who Dr Jones is and what he has been exposed to in his ifetime of experience. | can assure you that Dr Jones and his team have pored over this release and have selected their words with great care. Dr Jones is proposing that China, as an emerging superpower, should consider taking the ead in disclosing our ET history and heritage (Visiting Others is his term for ETs). He declares that the USA was given the disclosure task decades ago bu chose instead to develop and suppress the technology that it obtained from e "visitors" and embark on a campaign to encourage fear. Basically, Dr Jones is saying that the military-industrial-congressional complex has hijacked America and is refusing to relinquish the power and the profits generated by its technological advantage. Truly, we live in interesting times On a personal note, I'd like to extend my gratitude to all those readers who eard of my bout with pneumonia and phoned, wrote or emailed with supportive comments and health tips. It's been nearly five months since i struck me down, and, although I'm getting better each day, my recovery has been such that I have decided to postpone our NEXUS Conference until 2013 ‘m really sorry to disappoint those who are looking forward to one this year.
