With this in mind, NEXUS seeks to provide ‘hard-to-get’ information so as to assist people through these changes. PERMISSION-TO-REPRODUCE While reproduction and dissemination of the information in NEXUS is actively encouraged, anyone caught making a buck out of it, without our express permission, will be in trouble when we catch them! Editorial ell, it's finally happened: the complete takeover of America. On 31 \ \ } December, President Obama signed into law the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). What is just as astounding is that most Americans don't even know that this has happened. As long as they have their TV, Internet and social media, they couldn't give a damn. Sadly, the UK and many other western nations are not far behind in terms of dumbed- down, disinterested populations facing semi-dictatorship legislation. The scary part of all this is that the NDAA gives the American military, via the US President, the power to kidnap and detain indefinitely anyone, anywhere, for whatever reason they want to manufacture, and they don't have to answer to any elected or legally representative body. Even people who criticise America's foreign policy and actions overseas can now be considered enemies of the state and subject to this law. On that note, | move on to discuss some of our other articles in this edition. Most people in the West still believe that the so-called "Arab Spring" was a series of genuine, spontaneous, uprisings of oppressed people against evil dictators. Nothing could be further from the truth. Last year, 2011, was testament to just how successful modern media disinformation campaigns have become in twisting our beliefs towards this perception, as shown in the first article in this issue. Another topic of concern is that our Sun is becoming very active now. In his age of modern electronics, we are especially at the Sun's mercy should it suddenly release a large flare or coronal mass ejection that hits the Earth and fries our electrical generation and distribution systems. It is now being realised that, apart from causing massive personal and social inconvenience by having zero electricity for maybe days, weeks, months or more, a massive strike could trigger a global catastrophe as hundreds of nuclear reactor cores go into meltdown. We could be facing 400+ Fukushimas! Speaking of sunshine, we have an astonishing article linking sunscreen chemicals to major adverse effects on our health and the environment. There a good case linking some sunscreen chemicals to autism as well as to coral reef bleaching. Who'd have thought? We have a fantastic article titled "Morphic Resonance and Quantum Biology", which will thrill anyone who has felt that humans have vast, untapped abilities hidden within our very DNA. This article highlights a line of research that is starting to show that human DNA can be altered from within and/or from without. This issue also sees the publication of information that I've contemplated putting into the magazine for over a decade, but the timing has never fe right. Maybe I'm putting it into NEXUS now, in case 2012 does turn out to be as life-changing as predicted. It's about something termed "Loosh". comes from a book by Robert Monroe, who pioneered out-of-body travel and research. It is the equivalent of a travel brochure description of the origin o planet Earth and its purpose for nonphysical beings who pass by. It is the most logical explanation I've found to date about the history of this plane up to the time when mankind became consciously aware. In other news, over the last few months I've been recovering from a severe case of pleurisy and pneumonia, and | wish to acknowledge in particular the role of Elanra negative (oxygen) ion generators in my healing process. They kept my blood oxygen level up and thus helped me avoid hospitalisation. highly recommend having these Elanra units in your bedroom and office. I'm working towards organising another NEXUS Conference, most likely to be held in late July on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Please visit our website for more information, or check the next issue of NEXUS for a full program and booking form. Volume 19, Number 2 FEBRUARY - MARCH 2012 EDITOR Duncan M.
