WITNESS TO ROSWELL by Thomas J. Carey and Donald R. Schmitt New Page Books, Franklin Lakes, NJ, 2009 (revised & expanded edition) ISBN 978-1-60163-066-7 (315pp tpb) Available: www.NewPageBooks.com ince the 2007 release of this book by the collaborative team of Tom Carey and Don Schmitt, enough fresh information has come out that a revised, expanded edition was warranted. The authors tackle "the ultimate cold case": the mystery of what happened in 1947 near Roswell, New Mexico. Over 62 years later, time is of the essence because many witnesses to the Roswell incident— involving an allegedly downed alien spacecraft and the capture of alien crew members—are getting old. The reports gathered by Cary and Schmitt as well as other researchers have so much in common that they make the official Roswell incident explanations—all four of them—look ame. They confirm that there's been a massive government/military cover- up. The testimony compiled includes statements from first-, second- and hird-hand witnesses to what is argely considered to be an ET-type event; many of them were reluctant o come forward, having been told by officials to keep quiet. The accounts REVIEWS & KEVIEWS cover the complete timeline from the discovery and recovery of the UFO and its crew at the crash sites (including Corona, NM), transport to the Roswell base where a preliminary autopsy was conducted, the flight to Fort Worth and then to Wright Field. From their analysis of the facts to date, Carey and Schmitt have created a coherent case that rejects the US Air Force's explanations as lies. space. These sheaths behave like elastic tubes or spiral springs, and the fact that they can stretch means that they have energy stored within them. When combined in vast numbers, these encased lines of force create a criss-crossing web that produces the "quantum noise" of the universe. The tension in these sheaths produces an additional attraction between vast masses of "particles", and this added attraction is really what "dark matter" is all about. Dr Seymour posits that the tension or negative pressure in the sheaths increases as the universe expands, thus promoting the accelerating expansion of the universe—what is called "dark energy". His fascinating thesis fits well with the electric universe theory. DARK MATTERS by Dr Percy Seymour New Page Books, NJ, USA, 2008 ISBN 978-1-60163-006-3 (220pp tpb) Available: newpagebooks.com he universe is a tapestry whose Titres are magnetic and electric lines of force that originate from planets and stars, says retired UK astronomer and astrophysicist Dr Percy Seymour. According to his theory, what we regard as particles are compacted bundles of these lines of force; and the electrical energy in these bundles gives rise to mass, in accordance with Einstein's E = mc’ equation. Dr Seymour says that in ordinary space these force lines move from proton to electron, but in plasma space they move from electron to proton in very thin, braided ropes encased in sheaths of insulating (Urutemg Marrer Thark Mhotier, Duck Teeny. © Universal Cirid NEXUS ¢ 71 AUGUST — SEPTEMBER 2009 www.nexusmagazine.com
