With this in mind, NEXUS seeks to provide "hard-to-get' information so as to assist people through these changes. NEXUS is not linked to any religious, philosophical or political ideology or organisation. PERMISSION-TO-REPRODUCE POLICY While reproduction and dissemination of the information in NEXUS is actively encouraged, anyone caught making a buck out of it, without our express permission, will be in trouble when we catch them! Editorial Re changes to laws governing labelling and advertising of health products are aking life a challenge for businesses, practitioners and consumers. In Australia, as in the UK, Europe, USA and New Zealand, more and more alternative health businesses are being targeted for harassment—there is no other word for it—under the new laws, with the result that many are closing down, ceasing importation/manufacture of specific goods or moving offshore. Consumers will soon start to notice that they can no longer find out where to buy some of the more effective health products available: pinhole readers, zappers, multi-wave oscillators, ionisers, high-dose vitamin/mineral/herbal supplements, FIR saunas...in short, just about anything that really works. This development has resulted in a sharp drop in the number of advertisements in NEXUS Magazine. I already actively turn away "junk" ads (e.g., for psychic hotlines) and sensational ads cashing in on buzzwords (like "alkalising"), so I now have plenty of space for new advertisers! It struck me the other day that since many readers have their own businesses, why not invite them to put in a business card-sized ad, so that loyal readers can identify and support them. So, consider yourself invited to contact your nearest NEXUS office and chat about how you can access readers in your area. We open this edition with the final instalment in the Port Arthur Massacre conspiracy series. If you haven't got the gist of it so far, in a nutshell the author is suggesting that Martin Bryant was kidnapped, drugged and coerced into confessing to murders he did not commit. Meanwhile, a whole bunch of intelligence agents got shot and/or killed in what was a possible double-cross/sting operation, an innocent person is in prison for the rest of his life, and the rest of the country entered a new era of social manipulation beginning with gun control and the politics of fear. On a more positive note, you'll surely be as amazed as we are when you read the article on how diluted seawater can replace blood plasma in transfusions. It was shown over a century ago to work in animal trials, but since then this promising blood substitute has never been tested in human trials. The hard-working folks at Project Censored get two mentions in this edition. First up, in Global News we have a rundown on the Top 25 Censored Stories of the last year or so as judged by the group, and later we have a feature article by its director Peter Philips and colleagues from Sonoma State University, California, on the rise of the Global Dominance Group. This is a great article to copy for anyone who is so closed-minded as to refuse to acknowledge the existence of conspiratorial groups with hidden agendas. When perception management comes to mind, ozone gas is an interesting case. In the USA, mention "ozone" and thoughts of air pollution come to mind. In Germany, ozone is widely recognised for its healing and sterilising properties. In Australia, the lack of it is blamed for skin cancer. Even amongst many alternative therapists there is a false impression that ozone/oxygen therapy increases the levels of free radicals, whereas the opposite is true. Carmi Hazen's article on the medical applications of ozone explains the science and shows how you can set up your own treatment system, if you are keen. Our science article is on the phenomenal Brown's Gas. What a saga I could tell about Yull Brown and "his" gas, but that is for another time. What we have here is a summary of the gas's properties and applications in both conventional and controversial areas. By using the gas in a welding set-up, for example, you can obtain truly startling results, but there are other possibilities in areas like purifying water, neutralising toxic waste and even transmuting elements. You can buy the technology now and see the results for yourself. Be sure to read Dr Steven Greer's article which reveals some of the behind-the-scenes i ions and events surrounding the issues of UFO secrecy and disclosure. It is interesting to see the names of people in high places who are in favour of UFO disclosure and who know the phenomenon to be genuine but are too afraid to go public on the matter. Some fascinating insights can be gleaned from this article. Readers in the Sydney region should note that we'll have a stall at the MindBodySpirit Festival at Darling Harbour on 16-19 November. There'll be back issues going cheaply, lots of books on sale and loads to talk about. I look forward to meeting some of you there.
