With this in mind, NEXUS seeks to provide ‘hard-to-get’ information so as to assist people through these changes. NEXUS is not linked to any religious, philosophical or political ideology or organisation. PERMISSION-TO-REPRODUCE POLICY While reproduction and dissemination of the infor- mation in NEXUS is actively encouraged, anyone caught making a buck out of it, without our express permission, will be in trouble when we catch them! Editorial Gran once again, and welcome to another mind-expanding issue of NEXUS. I'm pleased to report that the NEXUS Conference in Amsterdam was a success, thanks to the great organising skills of Herman Hegge and the people from Frontier Sciences Foundation in The Netherlands. Hundreds of people from around the globe gathered to hear the latest news and information, and nobody left disappointed with the quality of the information. However, the quantity of information left people wanting more! It seems that two days for a NEXUS Conference is not enough to satisfy the information cravings of our readers any more. Taking this on board, we are pleased to announce that this year's NEXUS Conference in Australia will be a three-day event, i.e., Friday/Saturday/Sunday (24/25/26 September), and it will be held in Brisbane. We are also going to have two evenings of "mingling" so that attendees, stallholders, staff and speakers can have more time to network and socialise. This is going to be a pretty special event, so don't miss it. (See advert/insert this issue.) More and more debate is appearing on the Internet about the hidden agenda of the super- powers to control the apparently dwindling reserves of natural energy resources such as coal, gas and oil. I am therefore pleased to have an article by Dr Siegfried Tischler on how the same families and corporations are involved in the drug trade, terrorism and oil politics. (Dr Tischler is also going to speak at our Conference in Brisbane, where you will learn more about how oil is not created by fossil decomposition but is created and regenerated by microbial activity.) The information I have learned so far about our rights under Common Law excites me enormously. Already some landmark precedents have been set, and we hope to see Common Law rights invoked so we can consume raw cow's or goat's milk or grow banned medicinal plants like comfrey, and so on, without fear of prosecution. I hear of cases being won under Common Law by farmers who were levied by local government bodies for the rainwater collected on their properties. Author Eve Hillary kindly bowed to my insistent pressure and penned the first of several articles on this most important issue. When it comes to cancer survival rates with orthodox treatments, it would appear that we have not been told the full story. Now, the respected author/nutritionist Walter Last has written an article which should shock every doctor who defends orthodox cancer treatments such as radical surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Diabetes is so common these days that everyone knows someone with it—but not every- one knows what really causes it or that it is curable. This groundbreaking article by Thomas Smith is essential reading for everyone, not just diabetics. NEXUS has previously published several articles looking at a largely unrecognised cause of many illnesses, i.e., parasites and other foreign micro-organisms. Many researchers link successful cancer treatment with the simultaneous elimination of parasites from the body. So it will come as little surprise to some to learn of the connection between parasites, bacte- ria, viruses, fungi and other microbes and various so-called mental illnesses. For example, if you are not of good health and happen to have a pet cat, you may be well advised to check yourself for toxoplasmosis—an unrecognised factor in many "mental" illnesses. Another article that really excites me this issue is all about the electrical and electrostatic nature of our cosmos. Everyone acknowledges the presence and effects of gravity and mass, but how many appreciate the concept of electrical forces and interactions between the planets and the Sun, or between stars and galaxies? We have already published material discussing how comets are not "dirty snowballs" but electrically charged "plasma balls". Given our increasing appreciation of the electrical nature of volcanic eruptions and earth- quakes, we can start to notice links between sunspots, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and planetary positions from an electrical perspective instead of a gravitational one. With the recent establishment of NEXUS Magazine in Japan, Greece, Spain, Russia and Croatia, we hope to bring more articles of what is going on in these and other countries. For example, the publisher of the new Japanese NEXUS edition recently sent us the article which appears in Science News on the amazing Minato Motor, which has finally achieved commercial success. It looks like we're going to have even more mind-blowing NEXUS- type information coming in from even more countries, so stay tuned! Oh, did I mention the NEXUS Conference in Brisbane in September? See you there! — Duncan DISTRIBUTION Seymours, London, UK UK OFFICE - 55 Queens Rd, East Grinstead, West Sussex, RH19 1BG.
