PERMISSION-TO-REPRODUCE POLICY While reproduction and dissemination of the infor- mation in NEXUS is actively encouraged, anyone caught making a buck out of it, without our express permission, will be in trouble when we catch them! Editorial here is nothing so frustrating as writing an editorial speculating on what the outcome of an event due to occur "any day now" may be. It seems to me that I've been spending far too much time pondering hidden agendas of looming wars, dates and triggers of economic crashes, and trajectories of cosmic bodies. But to be fair, there are valid grounds for speculat- ing on all the above. One of my pet areas of research is the subject of state-sponsored terrorism. I have read of many examples of radical and extremist groups being created by various intelligence agencies to be used as "assets". The UK, Canada, New Zealand and Australia have all had cases where law-enforcement or intelligence agency factions have been the ones who deliberately created extreme political groups in their own countries! Many researchers in this field insist that all "terrorist" groups are state sponsored. Killing one's own citizens to secure or expand power both domestically and internationally goes back at least to Roman times. Now, only the scale and scope are new. Those in the "trade" call it "the ends justifying the means". The rest of us call it state-sponsored terrorism, and it is the subject of our opening article this issue. I know many experienced and qualified researchers who insist that a particular American intelligence agency controls al-Qa'ida. It is the age-old trick of a street gang controlling a hit- man or thug who beats up anyone he's told to by the gangleader. On the street it is shopkeep- ers and petty criminals who are "stood over". In the greater reality of the geopolitical chess- board, al-Qa'ida members are the Bush faction's private thugs who act on demand. So were the terrorist attacks of September 11 state sponsored? More and more people now think so. While on conspiracies and conspirators, it's hard to go past the Rockefellers. This edition we publish the first in a series of articles on this powerful family. The history of their New World Order visions is extremely relevant for today. I get many calls and emails asking about brain waves, brain frequencies, Schumann's reso- nances and, above all, which brain/mind machines I recommend and why. The article this issue on the Schumann's resonances gives readers a clear overview of what is going on, inside and outside the brain. Alpha waves, HAARP, ELF, brain-wave entrainment—it's all there in one digestible mental meal for your enlightenment. Wilbert Smith's story is one I have looked forward to running for quite a while, and this is the transcript of a very interesting talk he gave decades ago. Smith was a top Canadian gov- ernment scientist who, using his official and professional contacts, conducted a four-year investigation into "flying saucers", as they were then termed. His findings were probably too fantastic to be taken seriously at the time, but, in light of modern developments, they contain much that's of interest for today's frontier researchers. Just when you think we've run out of Area 51 whistleblowers to feature, we find another one! This testimony, from a transcript of a talk given a few years ago, is from an anonymous Nevada Test Site/Area 51 physicist, and we decided to publish it even though we have no contact details for follow-up. However, the testimony is most thought-provoking and alarm- ing—especially if you live in certain parts of the USA. If you work or live with fluorescent lighting, you will certainly want to read about artificial light sources and their effects on human health. You'll go incandescent! I cannot recommend enough that readers become more informed about all sources of vibrational health effects. And speaking of vibrations, UK farmer Mark Purdey writes about the infrasonic shock trig- ger for mad cow disease (BSE) and vCJD, the other factor being high manganese/low copper levels in the environment and body. I feel sure that Mark's findings will lead to an under- standing of the origins of many other diseases as well as BSE and vCJD. 1 go to sign off this editorial yet again, looking at the immediate possibility that my country will go all the way with the USA and others and attack/invade another sovereign nation. I believe we are being lied to over the assessment of the Iraqi threat, and I feel ashamed at the actions of our leaders in pursuing the path to war. The fact that the world's biggest media moguls have thrown their combined might behind the pro-war lobby means that truth and integrity in journalistic reporting have been replaced by falsehood and fear. Hardly anyone in power now dares to stand up and point out that the Emperor is wearing no clothes.
