32 Where is the Proof? SJ UFOs are real, where is the evidence? Is there any actual proof of UFOs? In fact, there are many different kinds of evidence that ufologists have gathered to support the case for the UFO. Below is a list of some of the major types of UFO evidence, all of which is examined in this book. e Eyewitness testimony: This is best when supported by multiple witnesses and lie detector tests. ¢ Photographs and moving films: Photos and films are great evidence, but they must be carefully analyzed to rule out hoaxing. e Radar returns: This type of evidence is rare but has been reported by both commercial and military pilots and ground radar. e Landing traces: There are more than 2,000 cases where UFOs have left evidence of landing, including marks in the ground or even burns. e Electromagnetic effects: UFOs often affect machinery including cars, radios, televisions, and more. © Medical effects: There are about 400 cases of UFO injuries and 150 cases of UFO healings. ¢ Metal fragments: In a few rare cases, UFOs have left metal samples behind that seem to defy analysis. e Alien implants: Recent analysis of small “foreign bodies” found in the bodies of abductees shows that these objects might be extraterrestrial. e Animal reactions: Many cases exist of animals reacting to UFOs.
