Each month they publish The MUFON UFO Journal, which fea- tures recent sightings and research. They have chapters in each state, with each state having a section director who organizes inves- tigations, trains new field investigators and sets up local meetings. If you are interested in becoming a MUFON field investigator, MUFON has a training manual and a take-home test. MUFON is always looking for new and young investigators to help record the thousands of cases that occur each year across the world. The National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) (206) 722-3000 (sighting hotline) http://www.nuforc.org The National UFO Reporting Center is the nation’s largest collection center for UFO reports. Researcher Peter Davenport in Washing- ton State heads the center. It receives dozens of cases each day. Vol- unteers then categorize and list the cases on the NUFORC Web site according to time, date, location, and type of encounter. Open to the public, NUFORC has proved itself a valuable tool in study- ing the UFO phenomenon.
