However, investigators raised questions from the be- ginning when they noticed that the jumpsuit had a conventional-look- ing zipper on the front. It was later discovered that the photograph was taken at a Montreal exhibit in the late 1970s, and the “alien” was actually just a plastic dummy. At least a half-dozen other hoaxed, plastic-dummy alien photo- graphs have come and gone through the years, again making it very difficult for the investigator to separate the truth from the fiction.” Yet another hoax occurred in the summer of 1992, when dozens of people in Sydney, Australia, called the police to report strange orange alls of light hovering in formations.
