esoteric traditions for lack of space. However, did we not say that thoughts have the power to create? Consciousness has the power to create when it possesses knowledge. We can create based only on what we know; in the opposite case, someone else creates for us...or inspires us. If causality is variable, it is so in the very nature of the cause. We are going from a deterministic physical causality to a libertarian meta- physical causality. This metaphysical, thus invisible and intangible, causality poses a problem for the materialists who have chosen...mate- rialism. It would be wrong to think that there are two separate worlds of matter and mind. This logic of excluding a third possibility blinds us so completely that it is difficult for us to see intermediate stages between pure determinism and freedom. These antagonisms are sub- ject to the spatio-temporal scale and absolute relativity (the more there is space, the less there is time, and vice versa). What — besides our consciousness — can lift this paradox between deterministic causality and causality through freedom’? In fact, we give more weight to determinism in case our consciousness is less devel- 4 todas ie 4 1 a . a oped, or more weight to freedom when, on the contrary, the conscious- ness of the act (and the laws set in motion) is of a high level. As a consequence, something is not true or false, but depends on our degree of consciousness. Experience shows that mental abilities are inevitably the corollary of consciousness. We should distinguish between our understanding of the individual and the understanding of our con- sciousness. It is actually for this reason that when we change the per- ception of our individuality, our mental abilities first of all affect our body (placebo and other effects). This correspondence between the physical and the mental body is caused by the variable entanglement that binds them. Other mental levels, also linked to the phenomenon of entanglement, generate interaction with our surroundings. By con- sistently seeing everything as relative to our level of consciousness, we may need to reconsider the role of consciousness in the reality of things. The modus operandi of causality should therefore be revised. The problem is that causality establishes the proof... 86 The Science of Extraterrestrials: UFOs Explained at Last * Eric Julien
