Predictability is not a flaw as such. After all, foreseeing is control- ling our future. It is adapting to the circumstances to come. It is avoid- ing sufferance and catastrophes. It is even showing divinity when we understand the meaning of synchronicity and true prayer. However, it is also an anomaly of our mind that tends to submit others to its laws. ne 4 : a c . 4 ao c oa Man-made science therefore never stopped controlling free will, or even reducing it nothing. It is what the mechanist vision of the world expressed without explicitly saying so. Moreover, without explicitly admitting it, we are seduced by the enormous potential powers gener- ated by paranormal phenomena and ETs, i.e., the ability to reproduce the supernatural to control nature. The question that remains is if, in view of the extraordinary powers at work, this is not precisely how nature punishes us for our tendency to subdue others. In other words, will intent supplant reason in the course of our evolution? The expression “I believe only what I can see” forces the universe into our mold instead of vice versa. In the past, pre-Copernican geo- centrism struck the minds with a “mental viscosity” that we joke about today. Mankind “saw” the sun moving in the sky and “believed” that it revolved around the Earth, remaining the center of the universe. We should stop laughing, because this is how “official” science, practiced or imposed by officials, welcomes paranormal phenomena and UFOs. We are still the center of the universe from a certain point of view, that of identity, that which we call chronocentrism. Indeed, after the central vision in space (geocentrism), we have to shatter the belief of a central vision in time (chronocentrism). This belief is famous for the constant and unconditional use of the physical magnitude called hertz, which is a number of cycles per unit of conventional time. It consists in relating back every manifestation to our physical time. We “see” frequencies on our oscilloscope and we “believe” that the world turns in function of a human time unit. As you can see, modern science is, in a more subtle way, like past religions. Nothing more, nothing less. This mental viscosity of a new kind is the heart of our contempo- rary society. It is proud of its work, like all civilizations that were con- temporary in their own time. It has good reasons to be proud but it has hundreds of times more human beings at its disposal to do the work, which puts its work into perspective, both the good and the bad. In fact, it sees only what it believes. 74 The Science of Extraterrestrials: UFOs Explained at Last * Eric Julien
