Others, who choose to encourage our evolution, have access to tran- scendence, the nature of the divinity within us and that, sooner or later, we will be part of with indescribable joy! It is important to accept that this nature is within us instead of handing over our potential to reli- gious or scientific representatives. The more we accept intermediaries, the more original words or knowledge will be distorted. Why not go to the source directly? Let us stop hiding. This requires only a minimum of effort. What kind of effort do we choose in order to justify or ques- tion ourselves? In other words, perceptual maturity depends first and foremost on the dynamics of conscious efforts towards more inner sin- wea cerity and truth. As promising as an explanation may be, it does not describe the intent of people, as they are always responsible for their own future, which I feel may be dim before the “great leap.” By persisting in the acceptance of the yoke of beliefs we allow them to control us. The news says more about its own nature than about the events it reports about. Ignorance begets war! Can the opposite — knowledge — bring peace? We often confuse science and knowledge for the simple reason that we decree our pres- ent research methods as universal. They are useful but incomplete. An enlightened mind will easily understand and accept that knowledge has changed over time and after many centuries. Unlike Popperian cosmology, what is universal and persistent is our error in judgment: we borrow our academic references from the past to create the future! That is why only those who succeed in leaving the limbo of common conventions are able to help their fellow beings move forward. Being outside the convention is being beside the norm, it is being “‘paranor- mal’! Degrees, titles and prizes do not change that situation. Their only objective is to freeze in time our temporary ability to “solve” specific problems. Where do we get this typical idea that the sanction of a degree lasts forever? Every important man made mistakes at some point in his life, even after receiving the recognition of his peers. Einstein is not the exception to this rule. In the beginning, he had the approval of many of his colleagues, but he is now being subjected to scrutiny after becoming a modern standard! 62 The Science of Extraterrestrials: UFOs Explained at Last * Eric Julien
