311CHAPTER 48 Consciousness creates the world IN THIS BOOK I AM ARGUING that conscious- ness needs space and time to exist. However, as it exists it understandsthat it can do without. Thus is the movement of consciousness fromabsence towards its own presence. It builds the ST only to tear it downagain. It needs the journey to create the destination, which is nothingother than the absence of the journey, because it is its own creation. Consciousness manifests itself in the quantity and quality of the information it receives. The quality of the information is the same asthe actual system (the software). Consciousness is therefore part of asystem. The most-complex systems contain the largest quantity ofinformation. We live in a complex system called the body. However, itis not the only one. The “I” entity is also a system, and even more com-plex. However, “I” should not be mistaken for consciousness itself. When “I” takes the upper hand in what consciousness conveys, “I”becomes ego. When “I” travels within consciousness (successive levelsof information), it chooses its identity, allowing us to detach ourselvesfrom ego. The quantity of information creates quality of informationthrough the system it can produce. Thus, the more granular time thereis, the greater the consciousness of all. Consciousness therefore travelsfrom the personal towards the universal. That explains why the iden-tity of consciousness depends on the quantity of information. We arenot who we think we are. It is up to us to choose who we want to be! The question “who are we?” can be answered by saying that the sense of identity of our consciousness is transformed depending on thequantity and quality of information present in STs. However, the ques-tion “where are we going?” can be answered by saying “here and now,”i.e., focused on higher STs where oneness and freedom exist. The term“where” in this question suggests that we are separated “geographically”
