I think the intrinsic meaning of energy has never been understood, because it has numerous expressions depending on the scale of the objects to which it is applied. Energy can be mechanical, biological, chemical, electromagnetic, quantum, it can exist in the vacuum, etc. The meaning is time! More than just an effort is required to understand it more completely. Our mind has to take a quantum leap and disre- gard centuries of mistakes: the physical time of our watch does not exist. It is but a pale copy of the profound meaning of time, of which psychological time describes the quintessence. Einstein argued that simultaneity is an illusion, particularly through the ladder paradox showing that a long ladder traveling hor- izontally at almost the speed of light undergoes a length contraction and is made to fit into a smaller garage. This allows us to close the entrance and exit doors at the same time. This is true if we are part of the reference frame of the garage, but not in that of the ladder. In other words, an event can be part of the present, the past and the future, depending on the reference frame in which it is located. There is a problem with size in the explanation given by Einstein, who said that the perspective of the garage is equivalent to that of the ladder. The temporal asymmetry of the systems proved to be subject to the perspective of consciousness.
