Precognition (or premonition) is an example of a paranormal phe- nomenon ordinarily refuted because it violates our sacrosanct causal- ity. It is therefore categorized as coincidence. Our future destiny is partially visible for those with the (sometimes temporary) ability to see. We use the same arguments by saying that an event must take place before we know that it was a premonition. Please note that scien- tists merely describe what will take place with the help of equations! They can be certain only when it actually occurs (which is not always the case), but they a priori know in advance (that is why theories exist) what will happen up to a certain degree! Just like psychic mediums! It is this “minuscule” difference between premonition and fact that leaves room for...quantum free will. The problem is that this degree of uncertainty increases along with the degree of freedom of the object we study. The odds that a fact comes to pass following a prophecy are therefore considerably lower than in classical mechanics; hence a large margin of error (despite the skills of the seer). As a consequence, the potentiality of an event depends on the intention associated with it. This depends on the subject in question, whether or not his conscious- ness is evolved, i.e., his ability to access high temporal densities, and whether or not he accepts the suggestions (hypnosis, self-hypnosis or deliberate choice). More concretely, a premonition looks just like a past memory, but regards the future in accordance with the laws of karma. Intention can tout cere ” 4 oat : c a erase only this “later memory” and not the memories from the past, because that intention was already designated. It cannot contradict itself. That would be self-denial. We can change the course of events tote aoaoun : aoe. only if the intention is unspoiled. When it comes to future events, it must also be well directed. That is why many cannot dissociate them- selves from an apparently undesirable or inescapable destiny. As our consciousness expands, karma loses its grip. Past-life mem- ories are therefore useful only to discover previously made choices that still mysteriously affect us. How can we explain that we are more or less “fortunate” in life? When we gain a better understanding of our- selves, our point of view can change. Respecting our own self means learning which choices we should make, which then become a source of incredible power. That is why we learn more from our mistakes than from our successes. They inspire us to move forward. Why should we give them a moral meaning when they are a driving force? Because of the guilt and constraint it generates, morality prevents us from taking an objective look at the consequences of our choices. It slows down our evolution. However, ethics — the principle of evolution — constitute a 230 The Science of Extraterrestrials: UFOs Explained at Last * Eric Julien
