what engaged them (no signs of dining, TV, computers, etc.) but I remembered hearing in the background the most unusual and beautiful music. I couldn’t find the source. From all around came this catchy tune that Icouldn’t mimic, no vocals, just instruments that sound nothing like any of the synthesisers we have today. That was all my memory would allow of this scene. What I witnessed was perhaps a striking glimpse of the tomorrow people, either alien hybrids or simply a new generation looking and acting quite differently. The only things convincing me that this wasn’t an alien planet were the hallmarks of modern Earth life that I recognised such as the McDonald’s logo. That one trademark was perhaps the most absurd yet memorable part of the trip making me realise that this was definitely Earth of tomorrow. Reincarnation is one aspect of the paranormal that I have not considered enough although I believe that many times I have experienced events from the perspective of others. This particular experience led me to the belief not of a past live but perhaps a future one: My memory (as often) brought me into the middle of a scene involving hoards of people whom I was trying to conduct and protect. It was night- time at some sort of military base where dozens of uninvited civilians had arrived quite unexpectedly. I was one of a number of military personnel guarding a sealed-off area where an unknown, brightly lit craft had either voluntarily landed or crashed. The scene was pandemonium and I believe we (the military) were alerted at very short notice about this landed craft. We had expected neither the situation nor these trespassing civilians and I remembered feeling quite embarrassed and defensive about the situation. Like many scenarios of this nature, the before and after was absent, so I can only guess what this was about, even though it seemed obvious. It was one of those security alerts involving a crashed craft like the famous Roswell incident where the military were called out to intervene and deny the incident to witnesses.
