thing we know of, pointing to this, is perhaps the Hindu heaven--Nirvana. Hindu art does often feature such a place in their paintings where noble bluish beings reside by lakes in a type of paradise. The thing that strikes me most is that it is always the same place, a highly familiar location with recognisable features. I am taken there during the Oz Factor and witness magic among ongoing tasks that we as humans are not familiar with. Alien creatures resembling seals with great wisdom rest along the banks with the also-wise blue people. Nearby, there is a race of man- beasts who wander freely and live in the forests. They are not savages but intelligent, talking apes which I suspect are newly evolved from monkeys and being schooled in some way. lonce thought of the river, the Hindus, the seals and the apes of being separate experiences, but now I realise they are all part of the same place. This is a particular area of great wisdom and benevolence, an actual location that humans don’t know about. Its familiarity screams at me at times and there are moments when I almost realise where and what it is. Sadly that is it. The déja vu sensation is rudely snatched away and I am left confused and in the dark again. I will get to know that Nirvana place one day. It probably comes as no surprise that aircraft develops rapidly in the future because it is that way now. The opinion I had of future aircraft is that they get bigger, much bigger. I previously commented on seeing twin-bodied airliners in the sky, but since then it became even more fabulous. Between huge wings, I have seen triple bodies, even additional wings where the craft was both longer and much wider. With such a gigantic aircraft with its relative weight and passengers, you would expect an earth-thundering roar of engines, but they are much quieter than our own. I don’t remember seeing any propulsion. During the times where I have witnessed UFOs, they were immensely large without any sound or signs of propulsion. Maybe we soon learn a profound lesson from the space man’s craft and their technology. In addition to the size of these new planes and the technology, I have witnessed miraculous rescue operations of other aircraft. On one occasion I witnessed (from a TV screen during a strange documentary) a smaller aeroplane in trouble and a larger one coming to its rescue. The periled 147 The future of aeronautics
