talking to someone in their sleep. On this side of reality, for instance, we desperately want to learn of what actually happens after we die and perhaps on that side they might want to know why a particular horse won the derby when they lived. That I believe is the incompatibility of entities whether they are departed humans or extraterrestrials. It seems to be when they transmute over to this side their behaviour becomes absurd. Visiting aliens have been known to do obscure things like steal children’s toys and return them days later! I have come across this high strangeness which sometimes leaves me wondering if my memory is at fault, but then I have to reserve the possibility that the “child in the night school’s” perspective will be different. Although after reading so many similar accounts from people who unlike myself have acquired the clarity of hypnosis that often relay both the ridiculous and cryptic, I can’t really refute the theory of absurd ETs. From their reality looking out, perhaps ours is incompatible? It isn’t so much the misunderstanding of earth culture by aliens, it’s probably the contrast in consciousness particularly if they are looking at our existence from the domain of omnipotence. The contrast in reality is I think where high strangeness and communication problems come from. Trying to imagine this contrast is like considering two submarines trying to make communication from different frequencies underwater. The rare transmission picked up can only be expected to be poor. Transition (humans becoming astral) also shows the teething problems of incompatibility. I cannot forget for instance that night of the ceremony where I had been collected by such an unusual car. It was as if it came from a past that we never actually had. I remember experiencing all the high tech features such as an engine that never ignited and a soundless journey as if the car was hovering yet inside could not have been more removed. The interior resembled something I estimated came from the fifties! When applying a closer examination to incidents like these, the more imaginative investigator might come across a consistency in the inconsistencies that could explain so many peculiarities ranging from the mysterious “Men in Black” of UFOlogy to the strange habits of extraterrestrials supposedly living amongst us. There were and still are memories resurfacing from my time in that strange school that I believe taught me things such as my experience of omnipotence. I seemed to have been taught how to experience this state of being and seeded with the knowledge of how it might work. As always, that knowledge comes to me in slow acting doses leaving me even more 105
