-End- On April 7th, a retired army major, Wayne Aho, announced his plans to utilize the Seattle World's Fair 600-foot space needle as a spotting station for UFO's. Aho said that he intended to place two spotters armed with telescopes or binoculars on each side of the tower. "We would have them on duty night and day," Aho told reporters. Dr. Hynek was wise in making his present judgment subject to reversal. British author Arthur C. Clarke has given an excellent rule-of-thumb in his book, Profiles of the Future: "When a scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong."
