the Tree of Life, as practiced by the Hebrews, is also thought to have originated in Egypt. Moses is credited with bringing this and many other metaphysical teachings into the Hebrew religion. Another little known fact is that when the Egyptian Empire finally began to fall apart, some of the priests took the sacred Light Body teachings to Tibet. This is one of the reasons why the Yoga practices of the two countries are so similar. While we are on the subject of Egyptian Light Body Yoga, I think it is appropriate to mention why I frequently refer to Humans as Hu-mans. The word Human is a magical code. “HU” is light, and “MAN” is mind. The word Human is not gender specific, in spite of what some feminists say. Hu-na is Universal Power, Ka is Spirit; a Kahuna is a mystic who has learned how to work with Spirit and Universal power. Huna is a universal teaching that is far older than the Egyptian culture. Today’s Kahunas firmly believe that Huna was practiced in Lemuria long before the Egyptian civilization began.* As a child I was led to believe that the Egyptians were evil because they enslaved God’s people. This is yet another erroneous fear-based belief that is only partially founded in truth. The fact of the matter is that the history of ancient Egypt spans many centuries, during which time both positive and negative factions had opportunities to rule. Therefore, it is impossible to categorize the Egyptians, or their spiritual practices, as either “good” or “evil.” Upon researching this subject, we find that, over the years, the priests of various gods sometimes changed their positions in regard to what today’s Westerner would consider positive or negative. We also find that whoever, or whatever the gods of the Old Testament were, they did have affiliations with the Egyptian gods. The story of Joseph is a good example of this. We find in Genesis 41:44 that Joseph took a wife who was the daughter of a priest of the city of On. (No mention is made of which god this priest served.) The city of On mentioned in the Old Testament is the Egyptian city Anu, which later became known as Heliopolis. Anu, as you may remember, is the Sumerian god whose sons are credited with both the creation of man and the founding of civilization. The Egyptian city Anu was perhaps the last place where the star gods’ lineages had direct contact with Humans in a temple culture. (Long after the gods withdrew, Heliopolis remained a center of spiritual study.) One of the conclusions we can draw from this is that the star gods have not always been completely exploitive of the Human race. They set up schools of advanced spiritual teachings that could be accessed by Humans as they became ready for them. The concept of being ready for this type of teaching is one of the keys to understanding the phenomenon of the star gods in relation to the develop-ment of civilization. The Human race is an evolving species. (See Key 314:67, 84.) During the ancient times, the native Earth Humans of the ancient lands were not ready to access the sacred Universal energies; they were busy experiencing reality as young Earth souls. The challenge of the day was to acquire experience as a physical being. Because much of the Egyptian and Sumerian imagery seems primitive, simplistic, and bizarre, you may find yourself skeptical of claims that these people had contact with advanced, extraterrestrial intelligence. I will suggest, however, that one of the reasons 15 Sedona: UFO Connection and Planetary Ascension Guide (excerpt) © 2007 Richard Dannelley KA-HU-NA: THE SPIRIT OF LIGHT VortexMaps.com
