58 certainly enough very fertile information in his account of the planet that, if he had been prone to do so, he could have woven a very elabo- rate fantasy. Instead, he seemed to have lived a normal, mundane existence similar to the average person on Earth, except for the more highly developed moral and mental capabilities. This, to me, gives it the ring of truth and plausibility. His subconscious was not trying to impress me in any way, it was merely recounting what was deposited in its memories.
