1 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS This chapter provides Rael’s answers to those questions that were most frequently raised by journalists during radio and televisioninterviews in which Rael participated worldwide in the yearsimmediately following the publication of his first two books in themid-1970s. Seeming Contradictions Between the First and Second Message QUESTION : The first contradiction which appeared between the first and second message was found in the beginning of the dialogue whichtook place between the Eloha and you. In the first message, whenyou asked him if it would be possible to visit his planet, he replied:‘No, you could not live there because the atmosphere is verydifferent from yours, and you are not sufficiently prepared tosupport the journey.’ Nevertheless, at the time of the secondmeeting on October 7th, 1975 (31), you were taken in one of theirmachines, and you spent nearly 24 hours on the planet of theEternals.
