FOREWORD In my view, for the many reasons outlined here publication of Intelligent Design - Message from the Designers marks the end of a long era of incomprehension and ignorance about ourselves and the purposes of our existence. I don't think its potential importance can be overstated: in my view it is simply the most important book to be published anywhere in the world for two thousand years. If it receives the attention it deserves, I believe it could herald and usher in an unprecedented epoch of worldwide enlightenment and change.
