Andrews later described his premature remarks as unfortunate’, and, for many people, the episode confirmed that the entire subject was not to be taken seriously. A further circle did form, on 4 August, in the form of a question mark. This was caught on film, but it has never been widely screened, since substantial enhancement was necessary in order to determine anything of significance. It was possible to see that whatever formed the circle had not descended from above, and there were no unexplained Barnes pictogram lights above the formation.
