One of the arguments for the doubtful character of the Eisenhower briefing paper is its lack of reference to the crash at the Plains of San Agustin. One possible explanation for this is that the briefing paper could be a copy of most of the original, with the copier omit- ting any reference to the second crash because, at the time, this had been given only limited credence. In this way, the briefing paper could well be both genuine and fake: genuine in its content but a copy made any time after 1947. Admittedly, this is pure speculation. CRASH AT CORONA
