At approximately 3400 years BC a great change took place in Egypt and the country passed rapidly from a state of advanced Neolithic culture...to two well organized monarchies...at the same time writing appears. Monumental architecture and the arts and crafts developed to an astonishing degree...there appears to be little or no background to these fundamental 14 developments...
