SOCIETY 167 ABOUT THE Knowledge has a great mission in the world. The Allies of Humanity have presented the problem of the Intervention and all that it portends. In response to this grave challenge, a solution has been given in the spiritual teaching called The Greater Community Way of Knowledge. This teaching provides the Greater Community perspective and spiritual preparation that humanity will need in order to maintain our right of self-determination and to successfully take our place as an emerging world within a larger Universe of intelligent life. The mission of The Society is to present this New Message for humanity through its publications, inter- net websites, educational programs and contemplative services and retreats. The Society’s goal is to develop men and women of Knowledge who will be the first to pioneer a Greater Community preparation in the world today and to begin to offset the impact of the Intervention. These men and women will be responsi- ble for keeping Knowledge and wisdom alive in the world as the struggle for humanity’s freedom intensifies. The Society was founded in 1992 as a religious
