changes? As we saw in chapter 8, Jesus foretold that cataclysmic Earth changes would be one of the signs that would precede his Second Coming. In the book of Revelation we are told that the earth changes will be divine judgments poured out by God upon a Christ- a4 rejecting world. In the last several decades, dozens of contactees have delivered messages from alien entities which state that Earth changes are not the wrath of God; they are the birth pangs of our Earth Mother who is trying to expel the "dark forces" from her surface so she can evolve to a higher dimension of existence. It seems to us that our alien visitors wish to set up the world for an alternate explanation for coming Earth changes. Instead of God's wrath, the Earth changes are connected with a coming cleansing of Mother Earth and the arrival of a new, highly evolved humanoid- hybrid species. This new hybrid species will, according to our space brothers, be in harmony or vibration with Mother Earth. So with one carefully crafted explanation, the aliens have explained away the coming wrath of God and their hideous hybridization program. Rather than fearing Earth changes and the abduction-hybridization process, they declare, we should embrace them as something wonderful. Even more incredible is the fact that the Earth changes and mankind's coming evolutionary quantum leap are connected with a future evacuation of millions of people by alien beamships. This evacuation, we are told, is to remove those who no longer fit in, those whose thought patterns are of the past. By removing these less-fit malcontents, Mother Earth, we are told, can evolve to a higher "vibration" without destroying all life on her surface. The hybridization program will, from the New Age perspective, help to facilitate the evolution of mankind and Mother Earth. When enough people of the "right vibration" (which the hybrids supposedly have) populate the earth, the New Age of peace, harmony, and brotherhood will arrive. This carefully crafted triad of deception has taken thou-sands of years to set up. At the end of the 20th century we have hundreds of millions of people who will embrace such teachings as a rational explanation for the wrath of God, the interbreeding of aliens with man, and the Rapture of the Church. The paradoxical nature of the religious messages has not gone unnoticed by researchers. John Ankerberg and John Weldon have asked the obvious questions: ". . . Further, in light of the messages given by the UFO entities, how credible is it to think that literally thousands of genuine extraterrestrials would fly millions or billions of light years simply to teach New Age philosophy, deny Christianity, and support the occult? Why would they do this with the preponderance of such activity already occurring on this planet? And why would the entities actually possess and inhabit people just like demons do if they were really advanced extraterrestrials? Why would they consistently lie about things which we know are true, and why would they purposely deceive their contacts?"*77 Finally, there is the question of channeling itself.
