their abduction experience, it is unfair to label these events as demonic encounters. The fact that people come to identify with their alien captors and view them as highly evolved spiritual entities who bring them closer to God is supposed to be proof that they are morally upright and benevolent creatures. However, one of the attributes of deception is that on the surface it looks like truth and benevolence. The most skilled deceivers are the ones that can perform a deception and make us think that they are benevolent, friendly, and acting on our behalf. False prophets will, we are told, will appear as sweet, benevolent, and harmless "wolves in sheep's clothing": "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves" (Matthew 7:15). A soft, cuddly lamb can be "fun" to be around. But allow the lamb to paralyze you, insert long metallic objects into your genitals for the purpose of extracting your seed, take tissue samples, then fill your head with horrible images of impending doom and anti- Biblical messages, and you might begin to suspect that underneath the wool is an evil entity that is set on your personal destruction! Finally, Jacques Vallee in characteristic fashion draws many parallels between the demonic nature of abduction experience. "I pointed out in Invisible College that the structure of abduction stories was identical to that of occult initiation rituals. Several years before, I had shown in Passport to Magonia that contact with ufonauts was only a modem extension of the age-old tradition of contact with nonhuman consciousness in the form of angels, demons, elves, and sylphs. Such contact includes abduction, ordeal (including surgical operations), and sexual intercourse with the aliens. It often leaves marks and scars on the body and the mind, as do UFO abductions."*4 phenomenon and the alien abduction scenario. His conclusions that they are interdimensional beings akin to angels and demons, who harass, even abduct and physically harm human beings, has made him few friends in the UFO or scientific community. The primary reason is that the interdimensional theory offends two groups with one "stone." To the scientific community, which prefers to think of the universe as a closed system, Vallee's theories introduce the distinct possibility of the supernatural realm—something that is anathema to the high-priesthood of science. On the other hand, the UFO research community is disturbed because Vallee's theories deny the extraterrestrial hypothesis which asserts that these are "nuts and bolts" ships from within our universe. The interdimensional theory along with the sadistic activities of the alien entities shatters these views and introduces the very real possibility that Satanic forces 1 aa et awe In previous chapters we examined numerous messages given through contactees and channelers.
