It is important to point out that there are many types of angels in the Biblical texts. Archangels, Cherubim, Seraphim, and Watchers are but a few. The Bible teaches that Satan was the anointed Cherub before he fell into sin. In the book of Ezekiel we read God's "Moreover the word of the Loin came to me, saying, ‘Son of Man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre,’ and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: "You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: the sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created. You were the anointed cherub who cov- ers; I established you; you were on the holy mountain of God; you walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones, you were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you." (Ezekiel nNo.11 12h 28:11-15). Although this portion of Scripture is addressed to the king of Tyre, the material covered is obviously not about him. This is a rhetorical device occasionally used by Biblical writers to get to a deeper behind-the-scenes issue; in this case, the tragic career of Satan. Satan was an angel with tremendous power and beauty, the highest of God's creation. However, he fell into sin when he became envious of God and decided to exalt himself above the place of God. The details of this cosmic intrigue are found in the book of Isaiah. "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit" (Isaiah 14:12-15). After Satan fell into sin, one third of the angels aligned themselves with him, making themselves the permanent enemies of God.*'® Satan and his fallen angels are able to manifest physically in time and space, morph themselves into a multitude of shapes. Incubi, succubi, fauns, satyrs, and sylphs are supernatural entities which many scholars believe are simply different morphological forms of fallen angels. These entities are found extensively in the folkloric literature of mankind. According to this literature, these entities have harassed, interbred with, and even abducted humans for thousands of years. When we compare the attributes and abilities of aliens and angels, we find some startling parallels. To begin with, they both have the ability to manifest physically within our space-time domain in a humanoid form (Genesis 19:1-11; Luke 1:26; John 20:12; Acts 12:19). In fact, while there are many different descriptions of alien entities, the vast majority assume some variation of the humanoid body form. According to contactees the Reptilians, Pleiadians, Grays, all with the humanoid body form, are the most common 144 lament regarding the career of Satan: types encountered.
