"Man [is] appointed mortal sorrow; [but] the blessed God shall come down teaching [that] his death shall bring [the] despairing rest." This is, of course, a summary of God's plan of redemption for mankind (called the "gospel" in the New Testament) hidden in a genealogy in Genesis. What makes this particularly remarkable is that it is highly unlikely that a group of Jewish rabbis would deliberately contrive to hide an expression of the Christian gospel in a genealogy within their venerated Torah! Unlikely, indeed.” The implications of this discovery are far more profound than is evident at first glance. It demonstrates that in the earliest chapters of Genesis, God had already laid out His plan for redemption from the predicament of mankind. It is a love story, written in blood on a wooden cross which was erected in Judea almost 2,000 years ago. In Genesis 3, when Adam fell, God declared war on Satan and promised a Redeemer.”” This began a "scarlet thread" of prophetic revelations that would ultimately climax in the book of Revelation. This program has been, and continues to be, the target of the "alien" intrusions. As we explore "the days of Noah," it is remarkable to realize that the earliest recorded prophecy was by Enoch and that this prophecy, although given before the flood, deals with the Second Coming of Christ. Jude quoted: "And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judg- ment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against." (Jude 14-15). Some believe this makes Enoch the first "astronaut." He was "evacuated." God took him. He apparently was expecting this to happen.*”” What makes this particularly suggestive is that there were three groups of people facing the judgment of the flood: (1) those who would perish in the flood; (2) those who were preserved through the flood, Noah and his family; and (3) those who were evacuated before the flood, namely Enoch. Will this pattern be the same for the climactic judgments that are going to come upon the earth? Similarly, the New Testament presents three groups of people facing final climactic judgment: (1) the "earth dwellers" who will be the focus of the judgments in the book of Revelation; (2) those who are miraculously preserved through the judgments; and (3) those who are evacuated ("raptured") prior to the judgments. DISCOVERY NO. 2: ORIGIN FROM OUTSIDE TIME The second remarkable discovery is that the origin of the Biblical message is demonstrably from outside our time domain. We discussed our spatial dimensions in the fourth chapter of this book. We also experience a temporal dimension called "time," which we take for granted. We live in an 130 ENOCH'S LEGACY
