SIGHIING_ACCOUNT
His children called I Mr
electrical power failure in the Medfield area that commenced about 6:5o PM and terminated
at about 7:50 FM.
appeared spherical O binoculars.
Note: ** - Later, Mr. .atated that he sighted a white object in the South which had
that of a full moon. It "sparkled like a s sparkler"
and was mvoing West to East with a "bobbing motion" It appeared to be 1/4 mile away
at an estimated altitude of 2oo feet.
SKETCH OF UFO()
REMARKS
Mr. confessed to me that he had just finished reading the book "Incident at Exeter"
and was quite excited about his "Uro sighting" during a "power blackout". The first sighting
was most likely Venus. The second sighting, although exhibiting typicel UFO motion, does
not contain enough data to make it an unknown. It most likely was an aircraft. It would
seem that Mr. Spang's sightings were influenced by the book, electrical failure and
an overactive imagination.
