As the lirht reached a spot just a little north of my oosition I reached around
and flicked the lights to scen C) hoping cause a reflection off the body

visibility was excellent. When the lights vent brighter the object n right
turn and started to climb increasinr soeed extremely fast, clearin rosty ountain
in a second or two. (elevation over Sooo'). At this tire I lost sight of the object
as it seemed to level off and sir't vas lest rehind the mounlain. At this time I
called Cold day "adar ite (Decline) and asked them to take a sichtior. fhey advised
nothing sighted.
I ooint this fact out to advise you I knew of te alloon release vefo:e hand and
that I am familiar with halioon release orocedures. fhe lieht I saw was not a
balloon light, nor was it any aircraft that I know avout.
One other thinr which I tor ot to point out above. dhen the light turned and started
to climb it did so sharply, eg. when and airolane turns or climis it makes an are
wien this Lirnt curned and started climi ing in made an angle as I have indicated in
the drowine.
