Reference AFR 2oo-2, para 14. The following report, taken by the under-
your disposition IAw this regulation:
a Discription of the object.
(1) Round bright object
(2) 3 to 4 times larger than airplane landing light. Observer
states that an airplane approached about i5 miles away, heading for Col-
umbus to land and that it had its landing lights on.
(3) The color of the light was orange, other than that ther was
no color.
(4) There was only one. There was only one.
(5) There was no formation.

( (0) When UFo moved out of sight, it became white in color.
There was no sound heard.

(1) A casual glance in the direction. The light caught the ob-
server's attention.

(4) The object moved slow at first and then picked up speed quickly.
Its motion was smooth and swift. Its flight path followed that of State
Routes 440, 489, 596 and crossed
the direction of Newark, Ohio to Harbor Hills, Ohio.
(5) The object moved off to the Northwest of the observer. The
light turned whiter as it moved away. Its disappearance was gradual.
(6) The observance covered a time span of an hour and a half.
c. Manner of observation.
(1) Ground visual.
(2) Naked eye,
(3) The object was obeerved in part while in a car. At that time
the car was traveling at 5o Mph and the objeot was stationary.

(1) 1930 to 2100 hours, 28 Dec 65.
(2) Night.
e. Location of observer. While driving from Newark to Harbor Hills
the object was observed traveling above Stata Routes 440, 489, 596-and
crossed over U.S. Interstate Highway 70 in the direction of Buckeye Lake
in Harbor Hills. When the observer reached her destination at the South
side of Buckeye Lake, the object was 1 miles from her at an elevation of
2 50 to loo feet from the ground. At termination of sighting, the object
moved away in a Northwasterly direotion at a swift rate of speed. Its
color changed from orange to white.
