Northwestern University. The duration and deacription or the Bight-
ing is in accord with an observation of a balloen looking toward
the West while the Sun was Setting. While no specifie balloon has
been identified, there are several research institutes flying bal-
loons which occasionally drift over the erea. Johns Hopkina Univ-
ersity is one such project and the launch site is at Hashiagton,
Pennsylvania. We regret that we cannot offer a more positive identity
to the sighting. Cur evaluation of this report is a possible balloou
