TYPE OF OBSERVATION a/c. A/c had red green lights, this triangle of light s was
yellowish orange. Lig ts were ndt bright. Appeared as though
Ground-Visual they were shining throuh haze.

Reference the attached letter fr requesting
information on his recent unidentified observations. The first
observation of August l965 is very similar to an observation of
an infra-red photo mission. The color of the lights, slow speed,
2, low altitude and the noise are all characteristic of this type
of observation. The noise is caused by a generator used in
operating the equipment. The second sighting of l September
could be caused by test aircre aft at high altitude as
M311 suggests.
