This is in reply to your report of two aerial objects
yon 23 August 1965.
It is possible that you observed two of the satellites,
satellite components, or space debris which are visible to
the naked eye. Since the objects were on the same course,
it is also possible that two high flying aircra were ob-
served.

evaluation of an observation on the morning of 23 Aug 65. Mr
assumed that the observation was a satellite. A check
with the e Echo and Pegasus schedules indicated passage for the
- time period indicated in his letter. possible th hat he ob-
served two of the other satellites, satellite
debris visible to the naked eye. Since th observations were on
the same course, it is also possible that two high-flying aircraft
were observed.
