15. sUmMMARY:
Mr, es . carpenter, was encamped near the Salt Springs Reservior on the
Mokulome river. At approximately 2230 hrs, 3 August 1965 he observed a ball like
oojact in the sky. It appeared to be about the sise of a silver dollar, Altitude : /
of object unknown, Color af object was glowing red, there were no other cdjects
other than the unidentified flying object in sky at time of sighting. Object

apoeared to leave a slight vapor trail, made no sound, was traveling in a north-
easterly direction. Observer statea that he watched the object for aporoxiaately

40 seconds, the sky was slightly hazy with no clouds, sighting was by naked eye,
aga of cbserver was 30 years. No wind existed at the time, There was no air
traffic visiole at time of sighting,
