Both men reported the sighting in the area of the Big
Southern Butte (43-22N, 11300W). — reliability
is very high, He could not be forced to give any infor-
mation that he was not sure of. He claims no previous
knowledge of any UFO sightings in the past few days,"

2, Delay in submission of report was caused by late re-
ceipt of Mr S§§MMMMBs letter and requirement for obtaining
udditional data,

I had no prior knowledge there were any reports of UFO's when I obsarved
the pnenomena drawn on the attached piece of paper. There were no other witnesses

at the time. I nad asked the Tower operator if he had seen what T had seen, His

Tesponse was negative but he offered that

here had been numerous reports of such

cr

pkenomena.e. This was the first I had any knowledge of any vcrevioulsy reported

sightings. They did not appear to be on a collision course with the earth's gurfaca.
