Mrs, aie contacted Police Headquarters and stated that she, her husband and
some friends had observed a bright object, which appeared to be like a shooting star
exceot considerable larger, traveling at > undetermined altitude in a Westerly dir-
ection. The object was a brilliant blue white traveling at what appeared to be a
high rate of speed mn oc the curvature ot the earth, then descending sharply out
of sight. Mr. stated that the object was visible for acproximately 2 to
5 seconds. The object was observed by the naked eye at approximately 2100 hours,
