evaluated as a satellite. His observation had all the character-
istics: of a satellite observation. ECHO I passed to the North

of St Augustine, Florida, near the zenith at 65 degrees elevation “teh

moving southeat at 90pm on 1 May. The motion of satellites, 3
while constant, may appear to waiver, stop or change in brilliance
due to atmospheric conditions at the time of the observations.

sky. At first aight it was very bright end moving at high speed,
and was theught te be a satellite, but then began to dim aad slow
dewn, then brighten & dim , it brighted ence more thea it dimed
and steped completely and disapeared. WS viewed from 9:00 P.M.
