The only unusual meteorological condition reported is the
temperature described in g (2) above.
+. No interceptive action was taken due to a 3-day time delay
from the sighting time to the reporting time. Mr. =_ his

j. The Richmond, Virginia FAA facility reported an inbound on an
Army plane which estimated Byrd Field at 1925 local time. ‘This aicerakt
Was on a VER Elight pian and could haye been in the aren of the sighting
at 1910 local.
k. This report was prepared by First Lieutenant Robert R, Dockum,
USAF, 4500 Air Base Wing (DOU-H), Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. ‘The
description of this UFO was given by Mr. Taylor to Lieutenant Pockun
during a personal interview on 26 January 1965.
The most probable cause of this sighting was reflected or
