ing with two Martans who landed in one of his fields
in a spacecraft has Tloga County aroused with curi-

The loudspeaker at Main Control blared these electrifying
words: "I've got a UFO." I was April 30, 1964, just six days words: "I've got a UFO." It was April 30, I964, just six days

Upon being questioned, the B-57 pilot replied; "It's egg-
shaped and white." "Any markings?"' asked Control. "Same shaped and white." "Any markings? asked Control. "Same
as Socorro," the pilot added, "I'm going to make another pass."

B-57 pilot told Main Control, "It's on the ground."
. Then radio communications ceased, Photo crews were asked

Rumors circulated that a UFO was in a hangat at Holloman,
under heavy guard.
Other unldentified lights had been sighted on theRange,
during Apru, prior to Zamora's sighting. Another involved a
guard who ran into a UFO on the ground at night. Hysterical
with surprise and fright, he empued his side arm at the object,
then fed, with the UFO seemingly in hot pursuit. He reached
Base H.Q. and was so badly shaken, he was hospitalized.
Attempts by the Lorenzen's to verify the rumors have been
unsuccessful.
Radar - Visual Observation on May.15, between 11:30
A.M. and 12:15 P.M., Surveillance ... Radar as well as FP-16
radars at Stallion Site, trecked two objects in the area North of
Stallion Site. The UFO's performed "perfect, precise Aight maneu-
vers," Including; side-by-side flight, separating, then rejoining
each other in formation and up and down (Pogo) mnaneuvers.
Visual confirmation was made by a trained radar operator
who saw the two objects; he described them as brown and foot-
ball shaped. They were fying at low altitude and disappeared
beyond bulldings at the instrumentation side where the radar
operator saw them visually.

prises the following report. We would
like to name them so that the members
will know the kind of teamwork which
made the following report possible:

Mexico State Police, as well as numcr-
ous contacts who prefer that their iden-
tities remain unknown.
This report will consist of the facts
of the Zamora sighting, which brought
the UFO into sharp focus in the latter
part of April, and the day-by-day, blow-
by-blow account of the entire investiga-
tion, which is as interesting, in some
ways, as the sightings themselves.
At 6:50 p.m. on Friday evening, 24
April, 1964, Patrolman Lonnie Zamora
of the Socorro, New Mexico City Police, of the Socorto, New Mexico City Poiice,

Now either the father know something that Avco is doing which might have
a bearing on this, or is simply trying to play the big know-it-all papa
who is trying to impress his daughter that he knows all government and other
secrets. In any case, what do we know about what Avco is doing? Is it
at all possible that they are testing something like this? If so, how
close to Socorr Who do we know there, and who can we ask? I do know *
that one of the fellows (his name slips my mind my mind right now - a right now - a Something-
or-other)who was or-other) who was one of the instigators of the one of the instigators of the big UFO Conference called big UFO Co ence called

a.man who obviously was frightened badiy by wiat he did see. I am not
absolutely certain that the wording of the quote is precise, but certainly
the. sense.is
I would further confirm that I rade the statement that we had no evidencs
to Lead us to believe that we vere being visited by spaceships from other
planets.  We do bave a few sightings like the Socorro sighting which are
extremely dirficult to explain.  In fact, we do not yat have an explaration
for the Socorro sighting, but tbat ract alone does not entitle us I
beLieve, to jump to the conclusion that we bave interplanetary visitors.
It is of interest, and. it is quite necessary fron a saientifie standpoint,
however, to look carefully into such cases to attemptito find cut vbat the
physical cause for the report was. If a sufficient mumber of such sightings
occurwe should look for a pattern which, in turn, could lead us to the
eventual solution.  I vish I could, for my cwn peace of nind, diamiss the

Montana landing (Page 13 of the September SAUCER NEWS) is that Malmstrom Air
Force Base in C Great Falls has denied the published reports that the Air Force
had concluded the incident was a hoax. This confusion is very similar to the
contradictory raports the Air Force issued about the Glassboro, New Jersey
landing, described earlier in this issue....

holes was a scorched area about four feet in diameter, ndicating that extreme
heat had been present.
Officials from nearby Malmstrom Air Force Base took over the in-
vestigation and questioned the children for hours. Later a report was issued
by the Air Force stating that the Canyon Ferry Lake incident was a hoax per-
petrated by the children, but the explanation failed to satisfy the parents of
the four youngsters nor the majority of other area residents, many of whom had
made confirmatory sightings of an object in the sky "as bright as an arc
light." It seems to us, especially in view of the amazing similarity to the
New Mexico landings, that Officialdam dismissed this case all too quickly!

On April 8, 1964, the NASA launched from Cape Kennedy
the first two man Gemini capsule. The capsule went into its
planned orbit around the earth, and was declared a complete
success.
But here's something you didn't hear or read about this lauch-
ing. The report was given to Keyhole confidentially by two sci-
entists present at the test. The Gemini Capsule was still in its

happen many time's over near rocket test ranges, satellite orbital
pathways, and airfields. The AF is completely aware that mys-
terious alien craft are watching our outer space efforts. The
public also is unaware that a great wave of UFOs have been re-
ported all over the world in 1964.

that a mysterious luminous object was
observed on the evening of April 15
in the sky over Lyons. The pheno-
menon would not have attracted
notice had the device, which was of
great size, appeared to be moving.

At the Lyons-Brun Airfield it was also
seen by obscrvers. Precise readings
were made by the service authorities
who are unable to explain its presence
in the sky.
The object was observed with an
azimuth of 309 degrees and it even
showed a constant oscillation. It oscillation. It

by Mr. Jan Willemstyn who lives at
Bushey, Herts, now receives un-
expected i confirmation. The British
Air Ministry and others have tried to
"explain" the Hertordshire object
as a weather balloon but for several
reasons this was nonsensical. It would
seem that the French authorities are
more prepared to let the facts speak
for themselves.

According to Mr. Wilcox, his routine morning chores
on his 300 acre farm when he saw a glitter I like the reflection from a mirror.
At first he thought it was merely the sun striking an abandoned refrigerator
near the farmhouse, but then he saw a smooth, egg-shaped luminous object about
20 feet long d 15 feet wide. Wilcox walked up and touched the UFO, and at
that moment, appeared frem behind or under the
craft. They were wearing suits made of some sort of seamless material, con-
plete with hoods and foot coverings. They spoke good English, according to
Wilcox, but he could not tell what part of their bodies their voices came
from. They told him that they were here to gather soil samples; that they vis-

space he cannot live more than two years without returning to Earth; and that
for his own good he had better not tell anyone about having seen them. How-
ever, they did not threaten him or make him promise not to talk. In the course

tural problems back on Mars.
As Mr. Wilcox t turned away to get a fertilizer sample for his visi-.
tors, the spaceship suddenly took off, without smoke or noise of any kind.
Wilcox then made report to the county sheriff's office, and eventually told
the newspapers. Later he was interviewed by telephone for Boston station WBZ.
In the interview he added many details, including the fact that the Martians
told him certain things that he does not feel at liberty to reveal.
This story is a wild one, and because of the intellectual comnuni--
cation between the farmer and e little men, we give it less credence than
the other recent landing stories. However, we do not by any means rule out ; the
possibility that Mr Wilcox is telling the truth,
