Your ovservation of floating thistle biocomsa is
an interesting case, and it fails into the senerai
category of evaluations of reported ‘angel hair"
Similar ovservations whicn have been reported
on many cecasions included migrating spider weo,
rayon residue from broken chemical plant filters,
and several stiver halides from cloud
’ seeding
operations. All three of these snenomena appear
in the same manner which you described in your f
sizghting during the latter part of the fall of iyo3.
The Air Force aopreciates your.contributicns to
this program and will add this unique observation
to the various causes of unidentified flying cbiject
