Your letter of Seotember 24, l963, addressed to
Colonel Dallam and inelosing a report received from
Stato Magsiore Aeronautica concerning a report of
an unidentiried flying object been referred to
thls ofrice for reply.
An investization of this reoort fails to disclose
the sighting. There is a oosai-
bility that the witness observed a refraction of a
ground light or a mirage. Stnce we have no weather

Il giorno 20 settembre 1963, due Ufficiali i dell'AN
Presidente della Repubblica a Castelporziano dove il Signor

OBJEOT: UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJEOT SIGHTED 20 AUGUST 1963
On the 20 of September 1963, two officials of the AM made an on the spot

situated near a bare patch in the forest which ran along in a westward direotion
for a faw Km; it is about 2o kilometers long and is flanked by high trees and
low shrubbery.
